Project Engineer
Job Duties
Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of transportation and civil construction projects in accordance with contract documents, plans, and specifications. Support project management functions including CPM scheduling, cost estimation, budget tracking, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Prepare, review, and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications. Coordinate with design engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to resolve technical and constructability issues. Perform site inspections to monitor progress, enforce quality control, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and material logs. Interface with clients, consultants, and government agencies to facilitate approvals and resolve project-related issues. Identify risks and implement solutions to minimize delays and cost impacts. Required Tools and Technologies: Bluebeam, HCSS, Procore, AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, Primavera P6.
Requirements
Masters’ Degree in Construction Management and Technology or Equivalent. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience accepted.
